About CVAP Scholarships
Our totally volunteer-group has raised approximately $640,000 to assist Coachella Valley high school women reach their goals through higher education. This represents scholarships to 340 graduating high school seniors. Scholarships are awarded to college-bound women at each of the Coachella Valley’s public high schools. Most of the young women are the first in their family to attend college.
Scholarships are based on academic excellence, community and school involvement, and personal interviews. These scholarships have given our Coachella Valley young women the opportunity to attend the top schools in California and across the country.
As the cost of a college education continues to rise, financial support becomes increasingly important. Your participation and support play a major role in addressing the scholarship needs in Coachella Valley.
